JULY 3rd, 2023 begins the fourth annual Wednesdays on the Waterfront (WOW) in Newport, Vermont. This free concert series will take place from 6:00-8:45 at the Waterfront Gazebo on the shores of Lake Memphremagog.
Wednesdays on the Waterfront is a music-based community venture spearheaded by Andrea Carbine and Veronique Rancourt. After a dinner party turned brainstorming session back in April 2017, Carbine and Rancourt joined forces on a volunteer mission to bring more positive energy to Newport. With their combined history of event planning, love of music, and recognition of the need for renewed passion in and for Newport, Wednesdays on the Waterfront was born. Moving into year four, after missing two years due to the pandemic, Carbine and Rancourt couldn’t be more excited to reignite a collective feeling of cheerful vibes, summer smiles, and musical memories. We are grateful for the continued outpouring of support from our local community members and area businesses and are excited to see everyone this summer. Spread the word, join the fun, and enjoy a breathtaking sunset on Lake Memphremagog while you rock the night away. We hope to see you there!
